Two Ways to Earn — Growth through Potential Capital Appreciation and Income through Dividend Payments
It is a moderate risk equity Fund with a diversified portfolio, which includes shares of local companies trading on the stock exchange and government-guaranteed bonds. It performs in line with market conditions and is subject to price fluctuations.
Unit prices are calculated daily and are based on the value of securities in the Fund on that day. As with all investments, the Fund may fluctuate in value to more or less than initially invested.
Can I track my money?
Rates are published daily on the UTC website and in the local press. Investors can always track the performance of all investments. The offer price is the price at which units are bought, and the bid price is the price at which units are sold.
Do I get income distribution?
Units also attract distributions which are paid twice per year, based on investor unit holdings as at June 30 and December 31. The total return is the capital appreciation in the price of the units purchased, plus distributions for the period. There are no maintenance fees and funds can be used as collateral for loans, which is at the discretion of the lending financial institution.
