Is my capital guaranteed?

The price of a unit is calculated daily based on the value of securities in the Fund on that day. Given the nature of all investments, the Fund may fluctuate in value to more or less than initially invested. However, capital invested for more than three years is guaranteed by the Price Guarantee Provision, which protects the investor from a loss.

This Guarantee provides that if the units are held for a minimum period of three years from the date of purchase, the return will never be less than what was paid for the unit. Should the unit sell for less after the three-year period, the investor still gets back what was paid initially, plus any dividends earned for the period.

Can I track my money?

Rates are published daily, so you can always keep track of the performance of all your investments. The offer price is the price at which units are bought and the bid price is the price at which units are sold.

Do I get distributions?

Units attract distributions, which are paid twice a year — on June 30 and December 31 –based on investor unit holdings. The total return is the capital appreciation in the price of the units purchased, plus distributions for the period.
