Mrs. Sharmaine Caballero is a human resource professional with over 35 years of experience. She has led the human resources function of the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago, and was a member of Republic Bank’s executive management team where, until her retirement, she held the position of General Manager, Human Resources.
Mrs. Caballero holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration from New York University and a B.Sc. in Economics and Mathematics from The University of the West Indies. She is a former part-time lecturer at The UWI and a former president and chair of the Council of the Institute of Banking and Finance of Trinidad and Tobago. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) and the Power Generation Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (PowerGen).
