UTC Ribbons of Hope 5k 2008

"make YOUR mark against HIV/AIDS"

The Unit Trust Corporation’s 7th Annual Ribbons of Hope 5K continues to be the country’s largest road race dedicated to raising funds and awareness for people living with HIV/AIDS.

Over the past 7 years 100% of the profits raised by this event have gone toward assisting Non-Governmental Organisations and Community Based Organisations that are committed to the fight against HIV/AIDS.

The UTC shares the belief that when we provide care and support for people with HIV/AIDS we prevent this disease from spreading.

Trinidad Date & Time: Saturday 12th April, 2008, 3:00 p.m.

Trinidad Route: Begins and ends at the Queen’s Park Savannah (Opposite Memorial Park)

Tobago Date & Time: Sunday 13th April, 2008, 3:00 p.m.

Tobago Route: Begins at the corner of Castries & Main Streets, Scarborough, Tobago and ends at Dwight Yorke Stadium.

Who can enter

‘Ribbons of Hope’ is open to everyone. Come walk, run, skip or chip and make Your mark against HIV/AIDS.

How to enter

Donload, print and complete the Ribbons of Hope 5k Registration Form PFD and submit with your contribution at any of our registration venues. 100% of your contribution goes directly towards the ‘Ribbons of Hope’ HIV/AIDS fund and entitles you to a free ‘Ribbons of Hope’ 5K t-shirt.

Where to register

Registration is at all Unit Trust Customer Service Centres and Kenny’s Sport Centres nationwide.

Registration Fee TT$40

Prizes will be distributed immediately after the race. ALL registered participants have the opportunity to leave with wonderful prizes – Airline Tickets, Exercise Bikes, Spa Treatments, Hampers, Cell Phones and much more.
