UTC’s US Dollar Money Market Fund US $6.96 Million Distribution

On July 1st 2005, the Unit Trust Corporation’s US Dollar Money Market Fund (USD MMF) made its twenty-first distribution of income since being launched in April 2000.

A total payout of US$6,964,429.74 was issued to 43,005 unitholders in the US Dollar Money Market Fund, bringing the cumulative distribution since the fund’s inception to US $79,118,232.

This twenty-first distribution corresponds to income earned for the period April 1, 2005 to June 30, 2005, based on a quoted minimum yield of 5.00% (effective yield: 5.20%).

The UTC’s US Dollar Money Market Fund was developed to offer customers higher rates of return, security of capital and one hundred per cent access to their USD investment. With a minimum initial investment of US$100, customers can participate in the USD MMF, which invests in a wide range of US Dollar denominated government, corporate and money market instruments. Interest is calculated and compounded on a daily basis and credited to customers’ accounts quarterly.

For the month of July, the quoted minimum yield for the US Dollar Money Market Fund is 5.00% (effective yield: 5.20%).
