The Growth & Income Fund offers a way for the average investor to buy units in this fund and get your share in publicly traded companies in Trinidad and Tobago. A diversified portfolio of stocks and other investments gives potential, pending market conditions, for growth of your investments. 

Capital Guarantee

The price of a unit is calculated daily and is based on the value of securities in the Fund on that day. Given the nature of the investments in the Fund the opportunity exists for the fund to fluctuate in value to more or less than you initially invested. However, capital invested for more than 3 years, is guaranteed.  

The Price Guarantee Provision protects you from loss. The guarantee provides that if the units are held for at least 3 years from the date of purchase, one can never again get back less than was paid for the unit. Even if the unit is selling for less at that time, the investor still gets back what was paid plus any dividends earned for the period. 

Tracking Fund Performance 

You can track the performance of your investments daily as rates are published daily. There is an OFFER PRICE (the price at which you buy units) and BID PRICE (the price at which you sell back units) for unit transactions.

Distributions

Units will also attract distributions. These distributions are paid twice yearly and are based on your unit holdings on the 30th June and 31st December. Your total return is the capital appreciation in price of the units purchased plus distributions for the period.
